Mga higala! A newborn baby boy was abandoned by his mother yesterday, January 27, 2020, inside the trash can of a comfort room, at the CDO 2 Cycles branch located in Zayas, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City!
Thankfully, the said establishment’s branch manager went in to clean the CR and noticed that there was blood all over the room. He then found the baby when he checked the trash can, which was covered with a bloody towel.
The baby was placed by his mother in a plastic bag but did not suffocate, giving them time to save him.
They covered the baby boy with a cloth and brought him to the JR Borja General Hospital.

The baby weighs around 7.8 pounds (3.5 kg) and is now safe.
