Politician Names in Gov’t Properties and Projects Removed by Iligan City’s Anti-Epal Ordinance

The rampant printing of various names of politicians in government vehicles and tarpaulins of government projects are now being removed in Iligan City.

This is part of the municipality’s Anti-Epal Ordinance which was passed last year.

According to Hon. Petronilo Pardillo, City Councilor of Iligan City, government vehicles and projects are not from the pockets of politicians and are owned by the government itself. Therefore, the printing of names in the said items is an inappropriate political activity.
