14 Aug Nephew stabs uncle to death in Brgy. Macasandig, CdeO

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo CDeO, a man was stabbed to death by his nephew last night, August 13, at Tibasak, Brgy. Macasandig in Cagayan de Oro City.
The name of the victim was identified as Ruel Ga-a, 49 years old, who is living in the area. The suspect, on the other hand, was identified as Joram Caingin, 39 years, old and was also a resident of the area.
According to Police Investigator SPO2 Glenn Pallugna of Macasandig Police Station, the incident happened after Ga-a tried to stab Caingin. However, Caingin managed to grab the knife from his uncle and was able to stab the latter’s chin and chest resulting to the victim’s immediate death.
Police investigators will file a homicide case against the suspect at the fiscal’s office, today, August 14.
