Mga higala! Filipina boxer Nesthy Petecio of Davao del Sur lost in the women’s featherweight (54-57kg) finals of the Tokyo Olympics today, August 3, 2021, and will take home a silver medal for the Philippines!
Petecio had a close fight with Sena Irie of Japan.
ICYDK, this is the 1st silver Olympic boxing medal of the country since 1996.
