Mga higala! The new low-pressure area (LPA) that was being monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has dissipated yesterday, December 23, 2021!

This was announced in their Public Weather Forecast earlier today, December 24.

With this development, no more tropical cyclone is expected in the next 2 to 3 days.

However, isolated rains may occur due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) in the southern part of Mindanao, the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan, and more.
