04 Mar NO WATER This March 5-6 In Cagayan de Oro Barangays Due To COWD Installation Works
Mga higala! Barangays in Cagayan de Oro City will experience a WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION (low pressure to no water) this March 5-6, 2019, due to the installation of a 600MM diameter flowmeter, together with several valves and additional stub-outs, to be conducted by the Cagayan de Oro Bulkwater Inc. (COBI).
The flowmeter will be installed to help provide an accurate and regular flow of data from the east pipeline, while the valves and stub-outs are designed for future pipe extensions and expansion.
The water service interruption will start at 10:00 am (March 5) and will end at 2:00 am (March 6).
Below are the affected barangays:
- Poblacion (Barangays 1 to 40)
- Macasandig
- Nazareth
- Consolacion
- Camaman-an
- Lapasan
- Gusa
- Puntod
- Macabalan
The Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) has advised their customers in the affected areas to store enough water for their consumption during the interruption period.
