In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, there are still reported insufficiency of water supply in some parts of Cagayan de Oro City and Opol Municipality due to the failure of the Rio Verde repair the main water pipelines that provide large water supply to the city.

According to Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) Assistant Manager, Engr. Bienvenido Batar Jr., although there is a 40-mile-cubic meter water supplied by Rio Verde, water supply in some areas are still unstable because of there is no water pressure produced.

Meanwhile, Rio Verde has assured consumers that normal water supply will be restored within the week.
