According to the Cagayan de Oro Police’s assessment, the drop of criminal activities is related to the diminishing presence of illegal drugs on the streets.
Data showed that from 6,250 crimes reported during the first quarter of last year there is a decrease of 32.5% or about 5,780 crimes were recorded this year.
According to the report, police said that most of the prevalent crimes are usually drug-related.
