Northern Mindanao ranks 9th in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) growth rate in the Philippines as of this year.
In a report from BomboRadyo, City Health Office has recorded more than 30 HIV carriers in the region.
Accordingly, Philippines holds 42 thousand cases of HIV since 1984 and one of its leading causes is having sex with multiple partners.
It was also revealed that most HIV cases involve men having sex with men.
