13 Jul NorthMin police kickstarts “Mission:Slim Possible” exercise program
Over 80 police officers from the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Northern Mindanao Office started the “Mission: Slim Possible” with the aim to lose weight and achieve a healthy and fit body.
In an article from Sunstar.com.ph, the six-month exercise program kickstarted last Tuesday, July 11, at the PRO-Northern Mindanao, Camp Alagar, Brgy. Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
PRO-Northern Mindanao Spokesperson Lemuel Gonda said that the program will help members of the police force to achieve waistlines of at least 34-inches and to maintain their normal body weights so that they will be able to do their usual physical tasks more efficiently.
However, policemen who will not be able to achieve the desired results will not be sanctioned.
Throughout the program, Gonda said that policemen will be required to join Zumba dance session for twice a week or do extra work out by themselves and follow a healthy diet plan.
On the other hand, Gonda encouraged other police officers to cut down their rice intakes, fatty foods, alcohol, smoking, and complete the number of recommended hours of sleep.
