Notice to the Public: Temporary Total Ban on Entry of All Pork Products Still Effective

Mga higala! The public is reminded that Executive Order No. 172, an order imposing a temporary total ban on the entry of pork products in Cagayan de Oro City, is still in effect.

This said order includes a total ban on the entry of the following items coming from Luzon, Cotabato, Davao, and other African Swine Fever (ASF) affected areas in the country and abroad:

  • live hogs
  • fresh/frozen pork meat
  • frozen boar semen
  • canned goods from pork meat
    • pork meat loaf
    • pork mechado
    • pork sausages
  • other processed pork products
    • bacon
    • ham
    • pork chicharon
    • pork chorizo
    • pork hot dog
    • pork longganisa
    • pork sausage
    • pork siopao/siomai
    • pork tocino

Manufacturers and sellers of pork products are asked to cooperate to keep the city free from ASF.
