07 Mar NPA burns truck in Balingasag, MisOr to divert military operations

In an attempt to divert military operations, less than 30 armed men of the New People’s Army (NPA) burned down another truck in Sitio Solo, Barangay San Juan, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental last Monday, March 6, according to reports from Sunstar.
The article mentioned that the truck was a red tanker owned by a certain Andot Madronero, a service provider for Del Monte Philippines Incorporated.
According to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the incident was a diversionary tactic of NPA against the massive military operations in Kaulayanan Area.
