05 Apr Police Office Reminds Parents to Secure Children Due to NPA’s Forced Recruitment

Mga higala! The Police Regional Office of Northern Mindanao is now spreading awareness in order to remind all parents to secure and monitor their children this summer.
Based on a report by Sunstar, Police Senior Superintendent Lemuel Gonda personally stated that this is due to the rampant and forced recruitment of Mindanaoan youth by the New People’s Army.
Gonda also added that since children can be easily swayed by lies, parents should double their efforts in protecting their sons and daughters against the NPA’s foul intentions.
Furthermore, parents should also be aware of meetings or seminars that their child wants to attend since some of the recruitment activities are disguised as false organizations.
