27 Feb NPA Burned Down 3 Heavy Equipment of Pineapple Plantation in Bukidnon

About 80 members of the New People’s Army (NPA) burned down 3 heavy equipment at a pineapple plantation in Quezon, Bukidnon.
According to a report from Bombo Radyo, the Davao Agricultural Ventures Corporation will possibly file arson case against the NPA.
PNP regional spokesperson Supt. Lemuel Gonda said that the burning of the 3 large trucks was done almost simultaneously at the separate location inside the pineapple plantation.
A Boom spray 07 was burned down at Area 803 Alpha pineapple plantation located at Barangay Merangeran and a Massey F tractor with BS-09 trailer truck was also set on fire at Sitio Bayong, Barangay Butong.
Aside from committing arson, the rebels have also successfully seized a shotgun, a cellphone from a security guard who was on duty and cellular phones from the two tractor driver.
The authorities believed that the rebels committed the criminal act for extortion or refusal to pay revolutionary tax against the said company.
