07 Sep LOOK: Olympic Medalists Receive Senate Medals Of Excellence & More Cash Incentives
Mga higala! Hidilyn Diaz, Carlo Paalam, Nesthy Petecio, and Eumir Marcial, medalists of the recent Tokyo Olympics, have officially received their Senate Medals Of Excellence and additional cash bonuses yesterday, September 6, 2021!
They are the first-ever recipients of the said medal from the Senate of the Philippines higala!
(ICYDK, this is in accordance with Senate Resolution No. 781, a measure that awards Olympic medalists and other outstanding Filipinos.)
Diaz then received P1 million from the Senate while Paalam and Petecio received P500,000 each. Marcial then got P400,000.
