No more hassle for those Kagay-anons who want to work abroad in procuring necessary documents. Last November 25, 2016, the one-stop shop service center was officially launched at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) – X in Cagayan de Oro City.
Instead of visiting various offices located around the city, the following agencies will be assigned in one venue at OWWA to make transactions easier and faster.
The offices that will be housed in OWWA-X are as follows:
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- Bureau of Immigration (BI)
- PAG-IBIG Fund
- Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA)

- Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
- Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
- National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NCRO)
- Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
- Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA)
- Philippine National Police
Meanwhile, Philhealth and POEA REU are still accessible since both offices are located in the same building. SSS and TESDA are following suit later on. The agencies will be of service from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm except on holidays.
