28 Apr Online Registration For PH National ID To Start This April 30
Mga higala! Online registrations for the Philippine National ID will finally start this coming April 30, 2021!
This will be done through the National Economic and Development Authority’s (NEDA) online system which will collect demographic data from those who want to apply:
- name
- sex
- date/place of birth
- address
- marital status
- mobile number & email address (optional)
However, applicants will still need to visit their local registration center for their biometrics and more:
- facial image data
- full set of fingerprints
- blood type
- iris scan
- other identifiable features (tattoos, birthmarks, scars, etc.)
ICYDK, the national ID system can help in improving the identification process of the COVID-19 vaccination program and the distribution of financial aid.
It will also help low-income families put up their own bank accounts.
