01 Dec CDO, Misamis Oriental, & Other Region 10 Areas Still Under MGCQ This December, Iligan: GCQ
Mga higala! In a televised address yesterday, November 30, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Iligan City and 6 other areas in the country will be placed under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) from December 1 to 31!
Meanwhile, other areas in Region 10 will remain under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ):
- Cagayan de Oro
- Misamis Oriental
- Bukidnon
- Misamis Occidental
- Lanao del Norte
- Camiguin
The President then emphasized that no matter what type of quarantine is implemented in any area, all citizens should strictly follow health protocols against COVID-19.
He also mentioned the 3rd wave of infections that’s being experienced in Europe and the United States right now and stressed that, “ang panlaban ng COVID is wash your hand(s), tapos wear a mask, and stay home.”
