22 Nov Ozamis City Mayor Offers P1M for any info on the identity of Romero’s killers
Following the killing of the former Vice Mayor of Ozamis City, Roland Romero, a P1 million reward will be given to those who can give information and identify the suspects.
According to a report by Sun.Star, Ozamis City Mayor, Reynaldo Parojinog Sr. spoke to the reporters last weekend that Romero was shot dead last November 17, Thursday. He added that four unknown men who were riding a motorcycle killed the vice mayor in broad daylight as he walked out from a pawnshop after withdrawing cash.
Romero attained several gunshot wounds including one on his head which caused his death.
Many speculations come up that the reason behind Romero’s death may be related to politics, Parojinog said, adding that the reward will help to intensify the search for the suspects.
The police, on the other hand, are hoping that someone will show up and provide information concerning the killing of the vice mayor.
