A common scenario in a singer-composer’s gig on a full packed Saturday Night is to usually bombard audiences with original songs that nobody has heard of before. But that’s how good and popular songs are born. So, P.E.D. Live Originals will stage some of Cagayan de Oro’s truly talented local indie singer-composers and their original creativity. This is your chance to hear their original compositions. The event is like being in a poetry reading session where the poets read their poems and a good story unfolds from every paragraph. But only this time, you are listening to a song, and some of these songs have stories to tell.

Celebrate with Pane e Dolci, Maddmen Productions, and the featured artists through original music compositions to be performed by local indie artists from Cagayan de Oro and even Northern Mindanao. The P.E.D. Live Originals starts on October 8 and all Saturdays of October from 6:00 p.m. onwards. Entrance is absolutely FREE. You might want to come early as the place easily fills up. And by the way, Pane e Dolci is turning THREE this month! It’s been three years since the original store opened on the corner of 12th and 21st Streets in Nazareth. This year, at three years old, Pane e Dolci now has 3 stores: the main café on 8th and 21st Streets, a second one in Ayala Centrio Mall in front of KFC, and the newly opened one on this 3rd anniversary at the Limketkai Center Mall in front of Watsons.

Since it opened its first store on 12th and 21st Streets, Pane e Dolci has been known as Cagayan de Oro’s premier “pasalubong” and sweets shop with its Classic Sylvannas in six different flavors. From there, the store expanded to include different cakes and pastries such as its Caramel Pecan Brownies, Chocolate Mud Cake, Dark Red Velvet Cake, and Chili Choco Cake. They also serve various local and specialty coffees, and is the first café in the city to serve Civet Coffee. But Pane e Dolci’s menu has expanded over the months and is now serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Local and specialty brews are prepared using manual brewing tools.

Take a break from the ordinary!

As we always say at Pane e Dolci:
