P12.3 Billion Released by PhilHealth to Accredited Hospitals to Boost Response to COVID-19

In the latest weekly report addressed by President Rodrigo Duterte to the Congress, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation has released around P12.3 billion to several accredited hospitals in the Philippines, including the Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City, to help intensify efforts in battling against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Getting the most PhilHealth allocations are the following hospitals:

  • Southern Philippines Medical Center (P326 million)
  • UP – Philippine General Hospital (P263.3 million)
  • Davao Regional Medical Center (P209 million)
  • Vicente Sotto memorial Medical Center (204 million)
  • Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital (P201 million)
