17 Nov P50 Million Loan Assistance Allocated For Marawi Evacuees
In an article posted by pia.gov.ph, the Department of Trade and Industry(DTI) is offering loan assistance that can be avail by the residents of Marawi City who are affected by the war.
During a meeting attended by the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) last Tuesday, November 15, the Provincial Director of DTI-Lanao del Norte Ruel Paclipan, the guidelines for the P50 Million loan assistance under the Government’s Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3) for the residents of Marawi are already approved.
In addition, sewing machines were distributed to selected IDPs by DTI with the collaboration of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in order to at least start a livelihood.
On the other hand, eight government facilities are already functioning in Marawi City as reported by the Department of Health (DOH) these are: Amaipakpak Medical Center, Bubong Lumbac Barangay Health Station, Matampay Barangay Health Station, Basak Malutlut Barangay Health Station, Bangon Health Station, Lomidong Health Post, CHO Rural Health Unit and MSU Infirmary Hospital.
