14 Sep Pagalungan National High School Opens Newly-built Classrooms
In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, six new classrooms are built in Pagalungan National High School- Lumbia Extension yesterday (September 13, 2017).
Barangay Chairman Eric Nafarete expressed his joy for achieving the long-time dream of the people in the area to have their own high school for youngsters in their area who used to hike far just to attend their classes at Barangay Lumbia and Barangay Tagpangi.
With a total budget of P5.8 million, construction of the school started last July 2017 and was completed earlier than the target date in October.
Furthermore, CdeO Mayor Oscar Moreno thanked Engineer Armen Cuenca and his family who donated their land for the construction of the classrooms.
With the finished school, Moreno encouraged the youth in the barangay especially those who stopped studying to continue their studies and finish high school.
The Department of Education, teachers, parents, students and the community were also very grateful for the latest achievement of the barangay.
