PAGASA Detected Low-Pressure Area (LPA) in Mindanao

On September 8, early Thursday morning, the state weather bureau, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) spotted a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) 40 kilometers West of Lumbia, Cagayan De Oro.

Mindanao, Visayas, the Bicol region, Palawan, Batanes, and the Babuyan group of islands will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms, according to PAGASA.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are to be expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Luzon will have light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest and coming from the southwest to west over Visayas and Mindanao. Slight to moderate weather in the coastal waters throughout the archipelago.
