Currently, two low-pressure areas (LPAs) are being monitored by the state weather bureau PAGASA.

Located 525 kilometers east northeast of Hinatuan in Surigao del Sur is the first LPA which is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Meanwhile, the other LPA is still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) which is at 1,735 kilometers east of Visayas, expected to enter PAR night of November 2, Wednesday, or morning of November 3, Thursday.

Compared to the first LPA, the second one has a bigger chance of becoming a tropical depression and will be named Marce. For the time being, the first LPA and the ITCZ will bring light to moderate rain and thunderstorms to Bicol, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Visayas and Mindanao.
