Airline giant, Philippine Airline (PAL), has offered the “piso fare” or a P1-Peso one way for flights bound to Laguindingan Airport in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental from Manila, Cebu, or Davao as a way to help the rehabilitation efforts of the government to the war-torn city of Marawi.
In an article from CNN Philippines, the “piso” fare is introduced to every traveler to be exclusive of government taxes, fees, ticketing, service charge, and surcharges and is also non-refundable.
The tickets for the flight are non-refundable and are only available last October 28, 2017, for the first 1000 PAL customers to book.
The promo is inclusive of a 7-kilograms hand baggage and a 10-kilogram free baggage allowance. It should also be used from October 28 to December 14.
Laguindingan Airport is the nearest domestic airport to Marawi City. From the airport, one can already take land transportation services such as bus and shuttle to reach Marawi City.
