29 Mar Mayor Moreno Issues Order Closing “Panaad” & Tourist Destinations In CDO For Holy Week 2021
Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has recently issued an executive order which closes all PANAAD and tourist destinations during this Holy Week, March 27 to April 4, 2021!
The said order– EO No. 34, s 2021, includes the following and more:
- Malasag Area
- Guadalupe Shrine
- Camarahan Ridge
- Beaches
- Resorts
- Amusement Places
- and other places where people are expected to congregate
BTW, religious services like masses, evangelical gatherings, etc. are still allowed during this Holy Week but processions and walking to the “Stations of the Cross” in external public venues are prohibited.
This order aims to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the public.
(Taking a dip in rivers and freshwater channels are also disallowed.)
