14 Mar Patient Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 @ NMMC Is Now Dead
Mga higala! The 54-year old patient who tested positive for COVID-19 at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) in Cagayan de Oro City, has died!
According to One Mindanao, the patient (PH40) passed away at around 9:00 pm last night, March 13, 2020.
ICYDK, this patient is from Lanao del Sur and started experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19 on February 24. He was then admitted to a hospital in Iligan City.
He was referred to the NMMC last March 8, tested positive on March 11, and was the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in Region X.
