10 Aug PDEA Arrests COMELEC Officer In A Drug Buy-Bust Operation @ Brgy. Iponan, CDO

Mga higala! An official of the Commision on Elections (COMELEC) in Misamis Oriental was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Administration (PDEA) at Barangay Iponan, Cagayan de Oro City.

According to reports, the suspect was identified as Jose Mari Fernandez, 40 years old, and a resident of Block 13, Lot 30, Bloomingdale Subdivision in Barangay Iponan.

His friend and alleged source, identified as Clint Pagapulaan (from Barangay Patag), was also arrested in PDEA’s follow-up operation.

Sachets of suspected shabu worth at around 100,000 pesos, a cell phone, and a 1000-peso marked money were confiscated by PDEA’s agents.
