11 Jul PDEA operatives nab drug den operator at Brgy. Macabalan
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Northern Mindanao nabbed a drug den operator in a drug operation conducted at Barangay Macabalan in Cagayan de Oro City last Saturday, July 8.
In an article from Sunstar.com, the alleged drug operator was identified as Florencio Villas nicknamed “Mayor” who owns a house used as a drug den located just a few meters away from the Macabalan Port.
Other arrested are Algrey Molisit, Kristoffer Villaflor, Crispin Requerme, Joseph Abapo, and Felmar Ortega coming from different Barangays and municipalities.
Four different sizes of shabu sachets were confiscated weighing around 20 grams each and has a market value of P100,000.
After undergoing a drug test, the suspects were discovered to have traces of illegal drug substance in their body system.
Consequently, all three suspects will be facing criminal charges for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of equipment, instrument, apparatus and other paraphernalia for dangerous drugs; and the possession of dangerous drugs during parties, social gatherings or meetings.
