14 Oct PDLs From General Santos Compete For 1st Intercontinental Online Chess Tournament For Prisoners
Mga higala! 5 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) from General Santos City recently defeated teams from various countries and will compete in the championship stage of the 1st Intercontinental Online Chess Tournament for Prisoners today, October 14, 2021!
The talented PDLs bested their opponents from Australia, Kyrgyzstan, United Arab Emirates, and Armenia yesterday, October 13.
ICYDK, the mentioned competition is organized by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) as a part of its #ChessForFreedom program.
