15 Dec Central Bank to Release New Peso Bills With Duterte’s Signature Next Week
To be released for the first time starting next week are new peso bills with the signature of President Rodrigo Duterte as said by the central bank last December 14, 2016, Wednesday.
According to Governor Amando M. Tetangco, Jr., the currency notes are ready and the first batch is expected to be released next week.
Tetangco then finally added that once the approval is completed and the procedures released, the currency notes will then be released to the banks.
