30 Nov PH Bet is 3rd Runner Up in Miss Globe 2016; emcee made another ‘Steve-Harvey’ moment
Guess what? Another emcee forgot to mention a crucial moment for our beauty queen. Last week, Miss Globe 2016 was held in Albania and proclaimed India’s Dimple Patel as the pageant’s winner, but the emcee forgot to announce the Philippines bet Nichole Manalo as 3rd Runner Up.
According to the organizers, the emcee forgot to take the third and fourth runner-up envelopes which were already together with the first and second. An awarding ceremony for Manalo was later organized by Miss Globe. Manalo made it to the top ten and won the Dream Girl of the World Award.
Manalo thanked her Filipino supporters; ““To all my kababayans, actually I’m very much humbled to receive this crown. But what I’m really grateful about is knowing that you have believed in me and you were with me through this journey.”
In December last year, Steve Harvey mistakenly announce Miss Colombia as Miss Universe 2015 only to return on stage to say that Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach is the real winner.
