Mga higala! The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has inaugurated its first-ever search and rescue (SAR) base in the Siargao Island of Surigao del Norte last Wednesday, May 12, 2021!

The said search and rescue base– PCG Base Siargao, has a 4-story building with an area of 600 square meters, located in a 5,000-square-meter lot donated by the provincial government.
