PH Coast Guard To Recruit 5,500 Personnel This 2021, Starting Salary: Up To P51,000

Mga higala! The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is now targeting to recruit 5,500 officers and other personnel this 2021!

4,000 of these are needed by the PCG while 1,500 will be assigned to augment the operations of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

ICYDK, below are the starting salaries:

  • Commissioned Officer: P51,000 (Ensign)
  • Enlisted Personnel: P37,000 (Apprentice)

Interested? Below are the QUALIFICATIONS:

PCG NON-OFFICER

  • A natural-born citizen of the Philippines
  • Has good moral character
  • At least 18 years old but not older than 26 years old at the time of examination
  • Single
  • Minimum height of 5’0″ (male and female)
  • Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulation for the Coast Guard Service
  • Senior High School graduate provided that he or she has completed Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) courses of six (6) months or longer relevant to the mandates by the PCG as endorsed by the SECOMCAP
  • College graduate or has earned at least 72 units in only one course as reflected in the Transcript of Records (TOR)
  • Senior High School Graduate provided that he/she has completed TESDA Courses (6-months or longer) relevant to PCG mandates
  • Must have passed the PCG Aptitude Battery Test Commissionship

PCG OFFICER

  • A natural-born citizen of the Philippines
  • Has moral character
  • At least 21 but not older than twenty-four 24 years old at the time of examination
  • Single
  • Minimum height of 5’0″ (male and female)
  • Holder of Baccalaureate Degree
  • With a Professional Civil Service Eligibility with a rating of 82 percent or above with a PRC license
  • Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulation for the Coast Guard Service
  • Must have passed the PCG Aptitude Battery Test Commissionship
