Mga higala! Around 50-70 million Filipinos are targeted to be vaccinated against COVID-19 this 2021!
The following individuals will then be prioritized:
- Healthcare workers
- Vulnerable citizens
- Indigent senior citizens
- Poor communities
- Uniformed personnel
- Teachers and school workers
- Government workers
- Essential workers vulnerable and co-morbid groups
- Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
- Other Remaining Workforce
- Students
(ICYDK, the Philippines has a population of around 106 million as of 2018.)
This was recently disclosed by NTF Chief Implementer and Vaccine Czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. during a press briefing.
