Using and selling of fake drugs is increasing at an alarming rate here in Cagayan de Oro City. Due to insufficiency of budget and lack of knowledge, many of us tend to buy medicines that are substandard not knowing that it can be harmful to our body and can put our lives at risk.
According to Dynamic Pharmacy on their FB post dated August 1, 2017, a customer came to their store and bought a medicine that was worth P 3.20. Before that, she already bought the same medicine worth P 5.00 from another store. Curious, she compared the two medicines and was shocked with the difference.
The pharmacists of the drug store quickly discovered the difference and contrasted the real and fake drugs. Below is the image of the two medicines being compared.
