Mga higala! The 1st phase of the NATIONAL ID REGISTRATION under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), will finally start this coming September 2019 nationwide!

This phase will run until December and aims to start the registration of over 107 million Filipinos before the end of 2019. Below is the initial list of Registration Centers:

ICYDK, the PhilSys is a centralized database for vital information on all residents and resident aliens in the Philippines.

Those who register will be issued with a physical national ID and will get a randomly generated, unique and permanent ID number or Common Reference Number.

Moreover, these personal data will be collected for the national ID:

• name
• sex
• date/place of birth
• address
• facial image data
• full set of fingerprints
• iris scan
• other identifiable features (tattoos, birthmarks, scars, etc.)
• mobile number & email address (optional)
