23 Jan Pia Wurtzbach To Postpone Cagayan de Oro Homecoming This Week To April As Requested By The City Tourism Council
Just this day, Cagayan de Oro Representative Rufus Rodriguez was interviewed by Radio DZMM saying that Pia Wurtzbach’s homecoming to Cagayan de Oro is going to be postponed this week having it instead on April as requested by the City Tourism Council member Gene Cesar to the Binibining Pilipinas organization chairperson Stella Araneta.
This dismayed Rodriquez as to why the city government would not want to welcome Pia Wurtzbach in Cagayan de Oro on January 29 and even proposed for a postponement until April.
Early this day, Saturday, Wurtzbach arrived in Manila in preparation for her week-long homecoming celebration. Miss Universe officials and the Binibining Pilipinas Charities has already laid out her schedule of appointments and events.
