18 Jul All-out Plastic Ban To Be Implemented in Cagayan de Oro

Mga higala! The Cagayan de Oro government is now considering the implementation of a plastic ban all over the city.

According to an article by Sunstar CDO, this step will help in preventing more floods, since plastic cellophane waste is the major cause of clogs on the city’s drainage system.

Sunstar CDO also revealed that City Administrator Teddy Sabuga-a will start the plastic ban inside the City Hall this August, in order to set an example.
