30 May PLDT Internet Speed to Improve Significantly Within 6 Months

On Monday, May 30, the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) had a press conference after the acquisition of the telco assets of San Miguel together with Globe.
PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan was asked if an improvement in the internet speed in the country is imminent. He said that it might not come until 6 months from now. “It’s difficult at this stage to give you specific dates. But well within 6 months. Within 6 months we can promise,” said Pangilinan.
