27 Dec PNP-10 Assists Lanao del Norte’s PDRRMC

The Philippine National Police in Region 10 has requested all its officers to coordinate with Lanao del Norte’s Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council or PDRRMC due to the recent catastrophe in the province.
According to an article by Bombo Radyo, Lanao del Norte already recorded 135 casualties due to the damages caused by Tropical Storm Vinta last week.
PNP Regional Spokersperson Supt. Lemuel Gonda stated that their office wants to confirm all the collected data by PDRRMC because the Office of the Civil Defense-10 only recorded the loss of 39 residents.
Lanao del Norte is one of the regions heavily affected by TS Vinta. The province is now currently under the state of calamity.
