06 Dec PNP Arrests Mother @ Iligan City For Sex Trafficking Her Daughter Online

Mga higala! A 30-YEAR-OLD MOTHER was arrested at noon yesterday, December 5, for sexually trafficking her own 9-year-old daughter online in exchange for money from online predators and customers abroad.
According to a report from Sunstar CDO, the suspect was caught while live streaming sexually immoral acts during an anti-trafficking entrapment operation led by the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Women and Children’s Protection Center – Mindanao Field Unit (WCPC-MFU) in Barangay Tubod, Iligan City.
The authorities were also able to rescue the mother’s three (3) sons who are 2, 3 and 10 years old, together with another 7-year-old girl, who was also seen in one of the photos sent by the suspect to her customers.
“Thanks to the diligent work of the WCPC Mindanao Field Unit, 5 child victims of online sexual exploitation as young as 2 and 3 years old are now free from sexual abuse and exploitation,” said lawyer John Tanagho, Field Office Director of International Justice Mission (IJM)–Cebu.
