07 Sep PNP To Monitor Quarantine Violations On Social Media
Mga higala! The Philippine National Police (PNP) will now be monitoring quarantine protocol violations like mass gatherings, drinking sessions, and others, on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms!
This is in accordance with the order of Joint Task Force (JTF) COVID Shield Commander Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar.
“The social media are full of photos and evidence of hardheaded people deliberately violating the quarantine protocols. These can be used as pieces of evidence to warn, to fine, and to summon the people concerned in coordination with the barangay officials,” said Eleazar.
Violators will face appropriate fines and/or charges.
