PNP Prohibits Kissing, Hugging, & Holding Hands In Public Due To COVID-19 Spike

Mga higala! Philippine National Police (PNP) is now prohibiting kissing, hugging, holding hands, and other public displays of affection (PDA) due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the Philippines!

This was recently announced by PNP Chief Gen. Debold Sinas and PNP Spokesman Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana.

The said prohibition is applicable for couples, close friends, and family members.

However, the PNP noted that no formal sanctions or penalties will be issued for violators. They will instead be reprimanded by police officers and will be reminded to follow social distancing and other health safety protocols.
