In an advisory from Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), released on September 7, 2017, POEA alerted OFW’s who are aiming and dreaming to get a job on nursing and other healthcare-related jobs in Germany to avoid the recruitment company called “Meine Agentur 24” without a proper approval from our local government.

According to the advisory, the company demands 5425 Euros to applicants for their language and nursing training. Apart from that, their applicants are also being required to have a bank account with at least 5360 Euros for their food, accommodation, clothing and transportation expenses.

It was stated on the company’s online pages that its address is at Leipzig, Germany. However, the Philippine Embassy in Berlin detailed that it is not on the list of their online registry of businesses located in Germany.

POEA also said that the recruitment company has no record found on their database of accredited foreign employers.

POEA reminded applicants to be more cautious in applying for a job in Germany and opt for legal means such as The Triple Win Project or Licensed Philippine recruitment agencies.
