24 Mar Police Arrests Brgy. Captain In Lanao del Sur For Selling Home Quarantine Pass @ P20 Each
Mga higala! Officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) recently arrested a Brgy. Captain in Marantao, Lanao del Sur, for allegedly selling HOME QUARANTINE PASSES to his constituents!
The police were informed by a concerned citizen via text and immediately conducted an investigation.
They then found that a sign at the barangay hall, saying that the quarantine pass can be availed for P20 pesos each.
ICYDK, the government has explicitly said that these passes should be given for FREE so that they can be used by residents when going outside to buy food or conduct essential errands.
