30 Oct PDEA Arrests Illegal Gambling Lord and Drug Pusher in Balingoan, MisOr

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives apprehended a suspected gambling lord who was also said to be a drug pusher to several areas in Misamis Oriental.
In an article by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, 56-year-old Reynaldo Waban who was accused of operating several gambling activities in the province was arrested through a warrant of arrest in the municipality of Balingoan.
PDEA-Misamis Oriental Team Agent GM Gomez said that recovered from the suspect’s possession were 25 grams of suspected shabu that is worth P150,000, a caliber 45 ammunition, and his private vehicle.
It was also found out that Waban is getting his supply of illegal drugs from other parts of Mindanao such as in Surigao del Sur, Butuan City, Marawi City and Cebu City in the Visayas area to sell in Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City.
Upon his arrest, Waban confirmed that he was involved in running illegal swertres in Balingoan but strongly denied the allegation that he is a drug dealer.
Waban was also identified as one of the members of the “Uno, Dos, Tres” drug syndicate that operated around the region last year.
