14 Jul LOOK: Police Recycles Used Face Masks Into Seedling Bags @ Bukidnon
Mga higala! Police Lieutenant Colonel Ellen Avanzado, a Forensic Chemist and the Provincial Chief of the Bukidnon Crime Laboratory, recently gained praise from netizens for recycling her used surgical face masks as seedling bags!
According to Avanzado, she felt guilty for just throwing her face masks away especially since it will just end up in landfills or elsewhere. Because of this, she then decided to keep them and turn them into seedling bags.
She washed and properly disinfected the said masks and had her mother sew them together.
