Mga higala! The Police Regional Office (PRO-10) will temporarily allow the backriding of couples living in the same household, without the need for a protective shield between the driver and passenger!

This is because there are still no official guidelines regarding the installation of the required shield from the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

However, as soon as its available, this requirement will be immediately imposed.

This was disclosed by PLtCol Mardy Hortillosa in his live video this morning, July 10, 2020.

According to Hortillosa, they have received a memorandum from the headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Camp Crame.

Married couples, live-in partners, and boyfriend/girlfriend will be allowed to back-ride as long as they are complete with the necessary documents (marriage certificate, barangay certificate, photos) which will prove that they are couples.

Helmets and face masks are also required.
